I am currently a PhD student in political science studying ideological extremism at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. Prior to pursuing my PhD, I worked for more than a decade in international development working on projects focused on democracy, human rights, gender, civil society engagement and countering extremism in the Middle East and North Africa.
